The
access point administrator can also play
the role of Facilitator of the "migration" for the bank, relieving the latter of the need to adapt its CBI application interfaces to the operations provided for by the porting scenario. SIA's
Technology Facilitator service permits management of the point of access to the new CBI network in
high availability(Disaster Recovery) mode, scaled for
high volumes of traffic.
The Technology Facilitator service includes the supply of a remote monitoring web application to view the status of CBI flows of the active/passive clientele, permitting the Bank to govern new events (workflow and performance management logic).
The main functions performed on behalf of the client banks are:
- management of messages in XML format
- management of the service workflows provided for by the CBI Consortium
- management of interaction with the central data file
- execution of the diagnostic in a certified manner
- feed of the performance management module.
At present SIA has
over 110 banks using this service.
