IOM is a Mainframe Software product that can be applied in three different areas:
  • Application Integration Area
  • Business Integration Area
  • Network Integration Area.
With IOM, the Banking Holding can give access to CSMs to its Indirect Participants in an efficient way.

IOM is part of SAPA, SIA-SSB Group architectural model that allows Banks to rationalise their payments processes in compliance with the SEPA objectives, allowing:
  • STP integration of payment processes with processes towards PA and corporates
  • integration with Governance and Control applications for a complete and integrated risk management.
 

Key features

 

IOM is a middleware software solution that:

  • allows financial institutions to decouple business applications and the external components' evolution such as the network ones
  • has the capability to transfer and transform business data (payments but not only) with different data structure without impacts on existing business applications
  • specifically thought for addressing payments business needs (e.g. reconciliation).
 

IOM modules

 

IOM is a Mainframe Software product that can be applied in three different areas as:

  • Application Integration Area
  • Business Integration Area
  • Network Integration Area.


For each area, IOM provides dedicated services as:

  • IOM Base provides basic services to connect Business Applications (intra and extra Financial Institution) and transport data (payments or any other structured information) between them.
  • IOM Add-Ons provides specific services for financial institution that can be used to specialize the behaviour of IOM Base. IOM Add-Ons Services are business modules located in the BackOffice Applications Area.
  • IOM Access Service is multinetwork and today has network adapters both on SWIFTNet and SIAnet.
