SIAnet.NG is the solution of choice of the domestic and European financial community since it guarantees high quality levels, secure and reliable data transmission and support for the most common applications.
The various types of network, entirely based on IP connectivity and on the MPLS protocol, have been developed to feature availability, functionality, scalability and high security levels that respond to clients' multiple requirements while guaranteeing Service Levels.
Security is guaranteed by Firewalls with implemented protection policies (ACLs) and is executed via a ciphered VPN (Virtual Private Network) channel, according to the IPSEC 3DES standard, establishing a secure end-to-end communication channel between the Client's premises and the application/central processing systems of payment cards, payment systems and capital markets.
Access to central application infrastructures (MTS, Monte Titoli, TLX, Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Pago Bancomat,ABH credit transfers, ICI, SEPA, and b-GATE) can be achieved in 3 different ways (where applicable):

A fiber optic broadband network configuration suite capable of ensuring high levels of performance, security and flexibility for your mission-critical activities, while at the same time limiting risks and optimizing investments:
SIAnet.NG Light is an integrated, flexible solution specifically designed to support the clients' future developments. Through xDSL technology, SIA guarantees its clients high performance levels at competitive costs. Access is achieved through xDSL lines with different MGBs (Minimum Guaranteed Bands).

NEH (Network Equipment Housing)
The "Network Equipment Housing" service offers clients housing services for network equipment owned by the client at one or more SIA Data Centers, with rack space measured in Units, a specific DMZ for each client, technical support, network configurations to access SIA central/application systems and helpdesk. The Data Centers feature high physical/logic security standards and state-of-the-art technologies.
Internet (vpn ipsec, vpn ssl)
For certain central application systems, SIA offers remote users with an Internet connection the possibility to access them via VPN IPSEC or VPN SSL, the latter scaled to the client's requirements.
SIA staff support the client in defining the speed of access to the SIAnet.NG Backbone.
