for the period 2008-2012.

, 31 March 2008 - Renzo Vanetti, CEO of SIA-SSB, has been appointed to the Programme Committee of CeTIF , the Research Centre on Technologies, Innovation and Financial Services at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, which promotes and develops studies and projects on technological and organizational innovation in the financial sector.
By joining the Programme Committee for the four-year period 2008-2012, Vanetti will be working alongside university professors and experts from the banking sector, directing and assessing the initiatives and projects promoted by CeTIF, with the aim of exploring the potential of technologies applied to the financial sector, the evolutionary dynamics of the market, and the impact new IT instruments have on decisional and operational processes.
Among the other Committee members are representatives from ABI (Italian Banking Association), Borsa Italiana Group, Poste Italiane, Consorzio Operativo MPS, Zurich Italia Group and Unicredit.
Led by Federico Rajola, CeTIF is a founding member of the European Association of Research Centers on Finance IT, and regularly works with industry associations as well as with major Italian and international market analysis and research companies
