The New CBI service, developed by the inter-bank workgroups of the CBI Consortium in which SIA participates, has the aim of perfecting procedures and creating new end-to-end services for banks and businesses.

New CBI has introduced a series of innovations, the principal ones being:

• Opening to B2B 
• Digital Signature
• Use of the XML standard
• Peer-to-peer network
• Central directory.

SIA offers banks an innovative solution to support them in the management of payment processes towards businesses and public administration, available as a product or service, capable of reducing the complexity of integration with the new CBI system.
Banks can use a single delegated technical structure without the need to develop and maintain multiple solutions.
