Milan, November 2016 – American Express Italia has chosen SIA, a company specializing in electronic payments, for the launch of an innovative service - completely digital and paperless – to support the request for new credit cards, significantly reducing issuing times.
This project launched by American Express Italia uses the most advanced authentication and digital signature systems.
From today, it is possible to request a card in paperless mode through three steps: registration, identification and signature.
The first step involves the registration on the site www.americanexpress.com/it, entry of your details and request of a new card without the need to print out forms and send paper documents.
The second step of user recognition has been totally digitalized: customers, in fact, just need to send a 1 euro credit transfer – payable to American Express – which is refunded automatically. This operation, for users of banks subscribing to MyBank, is done by accessing their home banking service directly.
Finally, once they have completed their registration, the customer enters into the contract directly online via an automated remote digital signature procedure provided by Infocert, the first digital certification body in Italy.
