Adolfo Pellegrino

Customer Operations Director

Adolfo Pellegrino was born in Santa Maria Capua Vetere (near Caserta) in 1970.
He has a degree in Business Economics from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.
 
Chartered Accountant and Auditor, he worked for several years in the fields of investment banking and business consulting first at JP Morgan and later at Accenture as Senior Manager, following several projects in the banking sector.
 
In 2003, Pellegrino joined Capitalia with the role of Deputy Head of the Organization Department, before becoming in 2005 Head of Organization at Banca di Roma, reporting directly to the CEO.
 
In January 2008, he joined UniCredit as Global Head of Corporate Organization, reporting directly to the Global Head of Corporate Division. Other positions he held include Member of the Board of Directors of UniCredit Business Partner and of UniCredit Global Information Services and Member of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Division and of the Strategic Business Area Global Banking Services.
 
At the beginning of 2010, Pellegrino began working at BNL (BNP Paribas Group) as Director of Planning, Projects and Organization and in December 2012 he was appointed Operations Director.
 
In October 2014, he also took on the role of Deputy General Manager and Operations Director of Business Partner Italia, the new BNP Paribas company created to offer specialized services (back-office, procurement, staff selection, training and management, real estate services, and debt collection) to all Group companies in Italy.
 
In January 2019, Pellegrino was appointed Chief Transformation Officer with responsibility for leading all Digital ransformation initiatives at BNL.
 
He was also a Member of the Management Committee of BNL, of the Management Committee of Business Partner Italia and of the Retail Transformation Committee of BNP Paribas Group.
 
As of June 2019, Adolfo Pellegrino is Director of Customer Operations at SIA with responsibility for overseeing all the Group's call center and back-office services, implementing robotics and artificial intelligence technologies and developing the related offering for the market.
